TIPS ... make the most of your holiday on the Island!
Bring
binoculars, beach towel (we have extra), kite and snorkel/mask.
Being situated on the majestic banks on the North Side of Point Prim allows you
to watch for bald eagles and seals (Seal Rock) late into the evening.
The chalet is self-contained with a fully fitted kitchen.
An
old-fashioned re-creation embellished with new-fashioned comforts including a washer
& dryer in outbuilding, electric heating, electric blanket, telephone,
dishwasher, gas barbecue, bath towels/bed linens/hairdryer/curling iron,
crockery,
blender, cutlery, microwave, range, refrigerator/freezer, coffee maker.
Satellite TV/dvd player, radio/cd, local maps and guides,
a selection of books, dvd's
and
games (cards, chess, checkers, backgammon, battleship, puzzles, etc.), beach
pails/shovel, as well as a list of popular
restaurants and attractions we locals enjoy.
Fresh water spring
from bank at the beach below.
No air conditioning needed
here! Gentle breezes keep you feeling fine!
The shops in Charlottetown are closed on Sunday. Coopers Grocery
is open Sundays and is located 6 minutes away from Point Prim on the TCH and
they have a very good general selection!
Bring your bicycle! On country roads (bicycle map
provided) where there is little traffic, bicycling can be a fun and safe activity for the whole family and
enable you to see more, while at the same time enjoying the clean crisp air
along a scenic stretch of coastline or through a picturesque valley, the
adventure is yours for the making.
